As you search the interwebs, looking to find a Fort Lauderdale based portrait photographer that fits your vibe, you probably have a few questions: “How do you get ready for a photo shoot? How much does it cost? More importantly, what the heck do you wear?!”

Below you will find some F.A.Qs (Frequently Asked Questions) that most of my clients ask at some point. Let’s go ahead and address those questions now. It’s important to me to keep my clients informed and at ease so that the only things you have to concern yourself with is being pampered and present on the day of your session.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY FORT LAUDERDALE PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENTS

• Will I look awkward?

“I’m not photogenic.” You don’t need to be. I will give you the tools to empower yourself and command presence in front of the camera.

• What should I wear?

Here at Kafi Armstrong Photography, we will photograph you in 4-5 different looks. Our sessions are tailored to each of our individual clients here in Fort Lauderdale so we recommend bringing only what you feel beautiful in. A design consultation will be scheduled once your retainer is paid so that we can really get down to the nitty gritty of what that means for you (from textures to colors to hair and nails, we’ll cover it all).

• Where are you located?

Our studio is located in Margate, FL.

• Do you do retouching?

Yes — professionally and naturally. You will still look like you.

• What is your turnaround time for artwork?

Image selection happens right after your session. Once your images have been selected and paid for in full, you will receive your digital images within two weeks. Artwork is typically received within 10-12 weeks from the completion of edits and digital delivery.

• What kind of physical artwork do you offer?

We offer framed prints, Folio boxes with matted prints, and beautiful albums handcrafted in Italy that all showcase your gorgeous imagery.

• Do you photograph couples?

We love photographing couples.

• Do you photograph men?

Yes, we photograph men as well.

• What are your terms and conditions?

Your non-refundable retainer must be paid at the time of booking to secure your design consultation and your session date and time. If for some reason, the weather does not cooperate for on location sessions, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your session. If you need to reschedule for other reasons besides weather, you will need to do so at least a week in advance. If you show up late to your session, a late fee will be charged.
